Write for us
We welcome unsolicited articles from parents who share the same ethos as our brand. Onco was set up by mums and through our experience of parenting, we’re able to recommend products that have been personally tried and tested. Like many, our parenting goals are to raise healthy, happy and fun children with an aim towards a plastic free and more eco-friendly lifestyle for our children and their future. Read more about us here.
Our main aim for Onco is to provide empowering information, advice and recommendations that our readers and consumers will use as support for their own parenting journey. We like to publish articles with a strong point of view, a personal feel and written from the heart - they can be funny or have a more serious and sensitive note.
Onco has a growing audience of over 8,000 followers across our social media channels.
What we are looking for
We are more likely to publish your articles if you are a parent with first hand personal experience and knowledge of the topic you are writing about. Think about your own parenting experience, perhaps issues or concerns that you struggled to find advice or information for and wouldn’t mind sharing with other parents who may be in the same position as you.
Our published articles will depend on what has already been published and also how unique and personal the information is.
Your article
Length - Full article (~1500 words) or short piece (500 words)
First person - Please write in first person as real life experience and knowledge is what we are looking for.
Originality - Your article must be original. Please do not send us work that has already been published elsewhere or if you have already submitted the piece to other publishers.
Images - If you have excellent high resolution images to support your article, please attach them to the email with the Word document.
Rights - your article is for the sole use of Onco Group Ltd and will be published online at www.onco.uk. As mentioned above, we ask that your article is not published elsewhere including on your own blog. By sending us your article, it is deemed as agreement to these terms.
How to submit your work

Timings
We will do our best to read through all submitted articles within a month and we will contact you to let you know if your article will be published or not. If you do not hear from us after a month, please take this as indication that we will not be publishing your article and this is not necessarily a rejection of your work but may be due to the number of other featured articles of the same topic, scheduling or perhaps we feel it would be better suited in another market.
If your article is successful, we will contact you to let you know. It is not always possible to give you an accurate publication date and at times, it may be that the article may have to be pulled from our scheduling, in which case we will contact you to let you know we will release it and you can share your article elsewhere.
